Hey everyone! Im in Mexico safe and sound!:)I've only been here for 1 day but it is Amazing!! It is so beautiful to watch the sunrise over the mountains!
And all the lights in the mountains during the night! It is Georgeous! The first week here my group is reading the whole Bible we are split up into groups of 3 and we take turns reading it throughout the hours of the day and night! There is not going to be 1 minute when the bible is not being read. The main reason we are doing this is just to read the Bible over the city and just let the power of Gods word take over the city. When we are done with that, we will be doing prayer walking and just walking around in groups and praying over the city for healing and just for people to have open hearts and want to know more and more about God. and for those who have never heard of God, we hope that we can be the instruments God uses to transform their lives. So that they can go and share the Gospel to other people. We all have a chance to preach to the members of the church and of other churches. Which is going to be an amazing experience! We are staying at a church. And the upstairs is where the pastor and his family live. then there is a kitchen area with two rooms that we are staying in. We have been blessed with beds. Instead of on the ground which most of the other teams have to sleep on the ground. The Pastors and his family are so hospitable they have cooked our meals for us and brought us out to eat last night! We had Taco's and It was SOO Good! we also have internet which is very rare as well! So we are all doing amazing and cant wait to see what God has in store for us int he next couple months!
Thanks for all the prayers!

I'm leaving, on a jet plane, dont know when i'll be back again...
So this is probably the last time I will be updating my blog until I go to Mexico City in 9 days!! I will probably be updating every week there just cause we only get 1 free day a week. And there will be a lot more to talk about because a lot is going to be happening there. Like healings and salvations. The last group of students that were there just got back early this week. And they told all there testimonies of their experience there. And God has truly done amazing things. They said that the people there are so open to hearing about Jesus Christ! Which is awesome for evangelism cause in Perth 8 out of 10 people say no when you ask them if we could pray for them! And over all over the entire city there were over 600 Salvations of non-Christians coming to the lord. And over 100 healings. Of people with broken arms getting healed at the point of prayer. And people standing up and walking who have never walked before! God has done so many miracles! And they were only there for 6 weeks and were going to be there for 3 months! So I am SOOO excited to see what God has in store for us!
I leave with 5 other people on Sunday the 28th at 12:10pm Australian time. Most of the students are leaving on Friday afternoon. We are all going to meet up in Los Angeles, California then go to Mexico city from there! All of the students are split up into about 6 groups so we can spread out throughout Mexico City. We will get to meet up every couple of weeks to share testimonies and our experiences. I just found out what region of Mexico City I will be in and its “La Paz” which is in the southeast part of the city. Feel free to look it up online and find out more about it. Its pretty interesting! Just make sure that you are looking up La Paz in Mexico and not in Spain.
This week our teaching is relationships! Which is one of my favorite subjects. Our teacher is a very, very soft spoken lady. So its hard to stay awake sometimes but she has a lot of good things to say, and definitely knows what she is talking about! Next week our speaker is going to be speaking on missions which is pretty legit, ey? Since were going to Mexico soon! And he is from Washington! So yeah!!! America!! Haha it should be good! But next week is also going to be a very busy week as well! We have class all day Monday and Tuesday. Instead of just in the morning. Then Wednesday and Thursday in the morning. Wednesday night we have a ceremony for all the students that are going to Mexico and for all the students going home. We are getting up to share our testimony to everyone. So that will be cool. Then Thursday is a night of cleaning and packing. Then Friday mostly everyone leaves. Then for the people who aren’t leaving we get to do all dirty work afterwards! Haha Whooo! J
God is SOO good BEYOUND words can say! We have been praying every morning for God to bring in the finances for the people who don’t have enough money for outreach. And Tuesday we got an announcement that God has provided! Every student got the finances needed which 2 weeks ago was over $60,000. SO GOOD!
This Sunday all of the students and staff from the YPDTS ( my DTS ) are going down to the river and having a barbecue and one last hangout with everyone. And some people are getting baptized in the river as well! I’m looking forward to it!
Well that’s about it for now! Thanks for all your prayers! They are definitely heard and felt! And continue to pray for safe travels for everyone as we cross the world back to NORTH AMERICA!! Whoo! I’ll be a little closer! J
Thanks again! Miss you and Love you all!

Long Due Update
I apologize for not updating this as often as I should. Things are just getting busier and busier here with getting ready for Mexico City.
So a lot has happened in the past few weeks. 1 of the main things that has happened was our building got broken into. There were about 15 laptops stolen along with 10-15 cameras and ipods. Some people got there passport stolen as well. Luckily for me I had my laptop with me in class so the only thing that got stolen from me was my camera. The leaders here got on the phone right away with the police and insurance company. Forensics came and got finger prints. But that’s about it. We filed a claim so we can hopefully get the money for our stuff back. We will find out in a couple weeks. And I’ll let you know.
We are spending a lot of our time right now getting ready for Outreach! (Mexico City). We have been spending every Thursday going out into the city of Perth and doing evangelism. We started out just walking down the streets and praying for the households here. 1 out of every 3 homes are or have been dealing with divorce. The next week we went door to door and asked each person if they would like us to pray for them for anything. This was very interesting, most people said no. some people took the time to talk. There was one guy that I remember very well. He opened the door and we told him we were Christians and we were wondering if there was anything we could pray for him. He immediately said no and said “Its going to take a lot more than prayer to heal me” and it just hit me how many people out there are missing out so much on the love of God! The next week we went to the beach and sang songs like “I’m yours” by Jason Mraz and “Waiting on the world to change” and we got a lot of peoples attention. When we got done praying people from YWAM told some of their testimonies. Our job was to go and find people who we attracted and talk to them about Jesus. Shinae and Jess (2 girls from my DTS) and I ended up talking to 2 people who were from Belgium and Thailand they were here for a school to learn English. We talked for about 45minutes of just random things. Then Dan knight (a guy from my DTS) wanted to go swimming and set his stuff by me while we were sitting. And one of the things he set down was his Bible. Then Max, the guy from Belgium, picked it up and asked us questions about the bible. And his girlfriend was there who was a Buddhist. Max said that he doesn’t believe in any religion and he likes to believe his own ideas. We ended up talking to them about God and the Christian faith for about an hour. When we got done it didn’t seem like we really got to them at all about God. But we didn’t want to really preach to them either. The last thing we want is a bad impression of a Christian. As we were getting ready to go I asked them if I could pray for them. And they both said yes. I asked them what they would like me to ask God for. And they both wanted happiness in life. So I prayed for them, and when I finished they told us how nice we were and it was good meeting us. God only knows how they are doing today. But I really feel like we planted a seed of faith in their lives! So if you could pray for them and ask God to soften their hearts so they can find truth in him! Their names are Max and Meeka.
This week our speaker is talking about spiritual warfare. It is truly a powerful subject! This past Tuesday while I was sitting in class I was getting really into what he was talking about and all of the sudden my heart just starts beating away like crazy. And I was getting hot flashes. I felt as if I had tons of adrenaline running through my body. I got up and started pacing back and forth in the classroom with my bible in my hand. All I could think about was reading the bible! I wanted to learn so much but I could only take so much in at one time. I felt like I wasn’t in control of my body anymore. The Holy Spirit was jumping off the walls inside of me! And I have never felt so filled by God in my life! This may seem a little extreme for some of you but this is just the daily happenings of YWAM Perth! Life will never be the same for me! And I found out that 80% of YWAMERS that go home end up going back to their normal ways. I DO NOT want to be a part of that 80%.
In about 23 days over 100 of the people on base will be going to Mexico City. I just found out my outreach team today! And I am STOKED! I was a little disappointed at first just because I was hoping to be in the same group as other people. But I knew that that wasn’t the right attitude to have for it. I’m going to Mexico City for God, not to have a good time with my friends. And the people I am with are so spiritually mature and I know its going to be an AMAZING experience!
Well that is about it. Sorry again for taking so long to update.
Love you all!

Another Fantastic Week!!! :)
Hey all! i think its time for an update! :) i hope all of you are doing great! and lifes good! It certainly is here for me! although there are our good times and bad!
after our week of repentance and forgiveness my heart and all of the students and staff that were involved hearts have changed so much! every morning we wake up and the first thing on our mind is God. But ocassionally we wake up and the first thing on our minds are temptation of sin! satan is trying to make us all think that we are not important, and everything we repented about, God doesnt care. so many of us have been feeling this way. and it seems the closer we get to God the more satan trys to take us away! but as we go about this school and go to class each day we learn more and more about how to say... satan go away! God has struck you down once and he will do it over and over again! just today me and a few other people were playing a game and some people werent playing it right and i got really frustrated! i thought to myself why am i so angry. this isnt me! then i thought satan is just trying to get upset so i can make someone feel stupid about themselves or make them feel down! and we all know God says to build eachother up and Love one another! so i started rehearsing scripture in my head and within 1 minute i went from being frustrated to having such patience! i thought WOW that definetly shut satan up pretty quick! The power of God's word is indescribable. so that just a thought if any of you feel like your acting in a way that God wouldnt want you to act. its satan trying to trick you. just say a few verses in your head or outloud and you will feel God's arms wrap around you and take you away from that sinful state of mind! and you can just see the smile on God's face saying... that's my child!
Ok im done preaching! :) haha this week our speakers name is Chris Adams. and he is talking about worship and intercession. it is VERY GOOD! im learning so much and want to keep learing more! i find myself reading the Bible so often just cause i want to learn about God and his word! :)
This weekend on sunday, we are going to the park and helping organize a triathlon for kids! I'm SOOOO excited! these kids are between the ages of 5 and 13 and we have to help guide them to where they need to go. and after they get out of the water, put their shoes on for them and their helmets! give them water when they need it! etc. i love kids so im pretty happy i get to help them out!
this is about it but there is one thing i want to say! I went and paid the school fees today. And i just wanted to say that i could not have done that without the help of all of you! whether you helped financially or by prayer both are EXTREMELY appreciated! so thank you soo much for everyone's help! i just have to pay for my outreach fees yet. and i know God will provide the money i need for that! so thank you again! Love you all!!
God Bless!

HEY!!!!!!
Hey everyone! i decided its about time to update my blog again! this week is a pretty intense week of lecture. Loren and Darlene Cunningham are here. for those of you who don't know them. Loren is the guy who felt God's calling and started YWAM (Youth With a Mission) 50 years ago. And Darlene is his wife. Everyone who has done any type of DTS (decipleship training school) has to read the book "Is that really you, God?" which i think is a highly recommended for anyone to read if your looking for a book. it is very good! But anyways we (all 750 students and staff on base) are celebrating 50 years of YWAM. our schedule is basically wake up and at 8:30am start our lecture and it goes till about 10:30pm with occasional breaks for tea, lunch and dinner. Except today! Today was Australia Day for all Australians. it's just like America's 4th of July. So we all went to the park and there were fair rides, bands playing, markets, and everything else and of course fireworks!! It was a really good time! I am putting pictures up on facebook so check them out! That's about all thats going on here. OH! right across from our base is a soccer stadium. and Sean Kingston! Shaggy! and Lauren Hill was there for a concert. we were all in class so we didnt get to see them but we got to here them during our breaks! so that was pretty exciting!
Ok i know some of you are wondering what the address is for sending me letters. so here it is!

Hey all! Sorry for not updating this until now. But I wasn’t able to get internet until today. I arrived in Australia Friday morning at about 2:30am my leaders told me to just sleep in and not go to class. But I only got 3 hours of sleep that night so I decided I was going to go anyway. And I am so glad I did! My first lecture experience was amazing! My speaker had me hooked the entire time! He talked about the character of God. I really enjoyed it a lot. After class my leader and I went out to go play some football. While I was doing that I managed to break my thumb! If you know me well enough that’s no surprise! Haha. After that me and 3 others went to the city just to get some things for school, while we were there, there was a street performer and me and Dan who is from England got chosen to be a volunteer. What we had to do was first copy everything he did. From moving body parts to screaming at the top of our lungs. Then we had to hold a girl who was also a volunteer then we had to kiss her on the cheek! Yes I know! My first day in Australia I kissed an Australian! I had no choice! Lol Next we had to stand facing each other with our arms crossed and Bruce (the performer) ran and jump up onto our arms and stood on us. While he was standing on us he juggled 15 inch knifes. He was good! Yesterday was Saturday and the whole group went to Fremantle. The leaders just wanted to show us how to get there so we could go anytime we want. Once we got there we all split up and went and did our own thing. While we were walking around the city, guess who we saw… the street performer! And JB a guy I was with got chosen to be a volunteer. It was pretty funny and Bruce recognized me and made a few jokes. Later on Josh who is my fellow American from Wisconsin and I bought a boomerang and decided to try it out. The first few throws were ugly! But after a little while I started to get the hang of it! The boomerang went about 60-70 feet. And occasionally came right back to us! It was a lot of fun! that’s about all that has happened here so far. The weather is very hot! Today it is about 125 degrees. This year is a record breaking summer for hot weather. And its not close to being done yet. J thanks for checking out my blog!
